Collectively, LFM members and friends have raised over $100,000 to complete phases 1 & 2 of the building renovations. That included:
- new hurricane-impact windows,
- all building cracks sealed,
- new stucco and paint for the entire exterior of the building.
 
Next up is:
- the build-out of new men's restroom,
- a conversion of the existing run down men's restroom into administrative offices,
- and flipping the existing offices into a much needed community pantry to meet the needs of those who are struggling in and around Bunche Park, Miami Gardens, and Opa Locka.
 
Project cost for this phase is projected to increase to $150,000.
 
This tax-deductible gift of any amount will go far in impacting the lives of those we serve currently, improving our community feeding program which serves over 100 families weekly (currently on pause until the construction ends), and providing much needed supplies to struggling families.
